Elizabeth Rothrock was the seventh of eight known children of John Rothrock (1779-1860) and Mary Ann Keever Rothrock (1784-1822), who married 20 Mar 1806 at Mifflin County, Pennsylvania. After Mary died in Pennsylvania, John remarried to the widow Mrs. Sarah Hopper (c17895 to 1836) and moved to White County, Indiana.
Elizabeth married Van McColloch (1816-1896) on 07 Mar 1838 at White County, Indiana. Elizabeth and Van were the parents of eleven known children, namely:

3. Mary Catherine McColloch Beers (1842-1928)
